The Christian Heritage board is motivated by a sincere love of God and His Church and a humble desire to aid in His work by serving and ministering to the home educators of Washington State. Several of these families have spent time in the trenches fighting for the freedom to home educate. They have all spent years persevering in the homeschooling venture and have tasted its wonderful fruits.

Jason & Masha Edwards, President

Jason and Masha met in Moscow, Russia while serving together in a homeschool based ministry.  After returning to Washington and starting a family, their homeschooling journey began, but it was not until their first Christian Heritage conference that they caught the vision of family discipleship. By God’s grace this changed not only how and to what end they educated their children, but most importantly their understanding and trust in God’s sovereignty over every aspect of life and family. They have been blessed with 8 children ranging in age from 5-23 years old. Masha keeps the house humming with her many helpers and loves to find time to encourage other moms.  Jason works as a software Product Manager and also serves as a deacon at Rosedale Reformed Bible Church in Gig Harbor. It is their heart’s desire to see their children grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord and are excited to be part of an organization that shares in this purpose.

Neil & Mary Craig

In 1982, Neil and Mary Craig began homeschooling their five children and discipled them into their adulthood. Neil and Mary are reaping the benefits of homeschooling as each of their children loves the Lord and is serving Him. They have twenty-two grandchildren.  Neil served for ten years at Back to the Bible Broadcast as their arranger/accompanist and Director of Music, after which the Craig family worked with Russian orphans for seven years, living in Moscow, Russia and Indianapolis, Indiana.  Music continues to be an important part of their lives and ministry. Neil and Mary currently reside in Spokane, Washington.

Tim & Gina Booy, Secretary

Tim and Gina Booy delight in having homeschooled their four children into adults with two now married and the last one finishing high school. They also have the pleasure of discipling the next generation by being grandparents. Their family serves together and purpose to live by their life verse, Psalm 34.3, “O, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” They have volunteered with Christian Heritage since it was established in 2005 and became the Registration Coordinators in 2014 and CH Board members in 2016. Gina has led the Speaker Team since 2019 and she is now the CH Events Director. Tim works in Chehalis building emergency vehicles.

Steve & Jennifer Cash

God began directing Steve and Jennifer toward homeschooling when their oldest children were of preschool age and He greatly blessed their efforts for the next three decades as they followed His leading to disciple and home educate their six children from preschool through high school graduation. Steve and Jennifer are now excited and blessed to see a godly, multigenerational legacy as their grandchildren are being discipled at home. They are also thrilled to see how God will use this heritage for His glory in His kingdom, now and to come.

Along the way, God has greatly used the ministry of Christian Heritage to challenge and encourage their homeschooling journey. From the beginning of Christian Heritage, their family has supported this ministry through volunteering, attending, serving or otherwise participating in numerous inspiring events. They are now honored to serve you, the homeschooling community through their participation on the board.
